JL - 26.5.17 66053 6E95 Kirkby Thore - Hull CT Shaw Paddock

In late May, on a cloudless day the prospects for the S&C photographer aren't great, unless you're out very early or late for the best of the light. That said, this shot is made more interesting with the encroaching shadow which forced me to release the shutter earlier than I planned to. 66053 picks up speed having crested the summit at Ais Gill with 6E95 Kirkby Thore - Hull CT seen here at Shaw Paddock.
