9.10.12 - 66005 6E77 Hunterston - West Burton, Shaw Paddock

The day started exactly as the last one ended. Glorious blue skies, a gin clear atmosphere and a shot of 66005 on a DBS coal train in stunning golden Autumn light. Having worked north on last night's 4S93 it was a fair bet that 66005 would turn up again on the most recent freight to be introduced to the S&C timetable, 6E77 Hunterston - West Burton. Seen passing Shaw Paddock at 08.30, around 30 mins after the sun illuminated the scene, the DBS machine makes for a fine sight and cracking start to a days photography.
