What a stunner! As is often the case the S&C saves it best for last. I think this is to reward those few who stay out and make the effort when others have drifted home. That said, with a long gap between freights and no northbound coal I was thinking of not bothering with this last shot. I'm so glad I didn't head home because this was the sparkling result at Lunds this evening as 66110 leads 6S00 Clitheroe - Mossend loaded cement tanks north running around 20 mins early. I do like this location and I've been meaning to do a more wide angle shot for some time, the dark skies to the east made this option an absolute must at this spot tonight.
