1.11.06 66040 6E64 Chalmerston - Drax, Smardale

Very unusually there were 2 southbound EWS coal working this morning the first of which was in the capable hands of workhorse 66040. Just for some variety, as we were expecting another similar working shortly afterwards, I opted for a zoon shot at Smardale rather than the wider angle with Smardale's buildings in the background. It makes for a pleasant result but I still pefer the more standard viewpoint. The 6E64 Chalmerston - Drax working climbs through the Autumnal scene under clear skies.
