Another stunning Spring morning but the weather is on the change so some of the air clarity was lost compared to previous days. With two late morning freights expected and with 'celeb' locos on each I took the chance to escape from the desk for 40 mins to grab both at Samrdale. 66142 which has enjoyed an excellent week on the S&C starting with last Sunday's engineers working, is seen climbing at a decent speed through Samrdale with 6E97 in tow.
