10.2.09 66564 6E73 Chalmerston - West Burton, Smardale

This is fast becoming my favourite loco, it just seems to turn up just at the right time for the sun. Despite the superb forecast the S&C weather was not as sunny as expected today. The best of the sun came early on and coincided with 66564 working south at Smardale with 6E73 Chalmerston - West Burton FHH coal. Just for a change I decided to take the shot from a lower angle and with a wider angle lens, I wouldn't say that it's a massive improvement on the more usual Smardale shot but you do get more of the wall in the foreground.
