Having taken an earlier shot at Town End Farm north of Appleby this was our second effort of this excursion and with plenty of cloud around we did well to get both in full sun. We were heading for Birkett or Greengates but Crosby Garrett looked a better bet for the sun so the boys and me diverted here and on relfection I'm pleased we did.
