JL - 31.5.23 37116 3Z15 Carlisle - Derby RTC, Crosby Garret

A nice addition to the S&C timetable today was this Carlisle - Derby RTC working. On yet another strike day there were no passenger diagrams so freight and test trains had the run of the network. RTT was reporting this as a DMU but given the conditions and the timings I turned out and attempted a drone shot at Crosby Garret viaduct. Like many others on the S&C a difficult structure to photograph with a drone. Colas 37116 thunders across the short viaduct with 3Z15 as the peaceful village slumbers in the backdrop.
