Today saw a continuation of my run of luck when it comes to shooting this diagram, with this stunning view of the afternoon 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk log train. Colas 66850 is seen climbing slowly through Crosby Garrett in gin clear winter light whilst dark clouds gather over the distant Pennine range. The sun disappeared after this and I didn't hang about for the NR measurement train.
