19.10.11 - 66016 6L92 Blackburn Old Junc - Carlisle, Lunds

Dales sunrise. Some gen from JH about two early morning engineers diagrams tempted me out nice and early this morning. At this time of year, for a northbound train at this time, there aren't many location options. Having 'done to death' the early morning shot at Dandry Mire I wanted to try something a bit different and I've had a silouhette at Lunds on the to do list for a while. The morning sun isn't at the right angle for a glint shot on the eastern side, so today was as good an opportunity as any to try something new from the west. Clouds were arriving in increasing numbers but this added to the attractive skyscape as 66016 worked through the scene with the 6L92 Blackburn Old Junc - Carlisle engineers working. Good to catch up with JH on his usual Autumn visit.
