1.7.08 66607 Horrcksford Junc - Carlisle, Angerholme

The lengthy spell of engineering work at Horrocksford Junc near Clitheroe generated a considerable amount of additional freight traffic for the S&C in the Summer of 2008 and I was able to capture a few of these workings on camera. Although this was by no means the best effort of these workings (see Quarry Farm or Shaw Paddock)this is another example of a typical working. Whilst waiting at Angerholme for the sand trial freight from Carlisle to Hunslet (which wasn't a great shot) 66607 worked north with a rake of uniform JNAs heading for Carlisle yard.
