JL - 26.10.22 60011 6E97 Kirkby Thore - Tees Dock, Angerholme

Having bagged Tug hauled 6E97 yesterday at Smardale with a rainbow in the shot I decide to push things and go for the same working today. Good luck doesn't adequately cover the minor miracle that happened at Angerholme. Forget what the sky looks like above the train, the cloud scene behind me was a very different picture. I had stood in full dull for around 40 mins without a sign of sun but when 60011 round the curve moving at an impressive speed the scene was illuminated in 'liquid' Autumnal light. My luck didn't last for the other two S&C freights today (Ribblehead and Arcow stone) which was a shame because the Ribblehead - Tuebrook working was also 60 hauled (GBRf 60095). With the line currently blocked at the north end due to the derailed cement we are lucky to have 3 freights which originate from points further south.
