15.4.14 - 66120 6Z88 Doncaster Belmont Yard - New Cumnock, Angerholme

What a stunning start to the day. Without a doubt this is my best shot so far of this lesser seen diagram. The sun had not long risen over Mallerstang Edge and with this working running ahead of time at Skipton I anticipated that it would be in Mallerstang before 07.30am making the sun angle at this location just about perfect. Running about 30 mins early 66120 rushes downgrade through Angerholme with 6Z88 Doncaster Belmont Yard - New Cumnock empty MEA coal wagons. A clean loco, stonking light and a very attractive Pennine scene.
