JL - 24.5.18 66516 6V56 Killoch - Port Talbot, Angerholme

It's best not to try to understand the economics of hauling coal from Killoch to Port Talbot in South Wales, however I'm not complaining that coal is once again back on the S&C! This diagram takes almost 24 hours from point of origin to destination but traverses Ais Gill at a nice time to capture some early evening Summer light. One of my favourite locations for workings at this time is MP261. 66516 is seen grinding away through Mallerstang with 6V56 a load of this once common but now rare commodity.
