11.3.14 - 66143 6E85 Hunterston - Ferrybridge, Smardale

On a grand Spring morning there really is nowhere quite like Smardale. I've done this shot more times than all other locations throughout the seasons but in my view Spring is when this tranquil view is at its best. From my exact favourite spot and using my favourite Smardale composition with the platelayers hut bottom right, 66143 climbs south with 6E85 Hunterston - Ferrybridge loaded coal.
