Running around 25 mins behind the earlier southbound gypsum empties, 68017 and immaculate stablemate 68016 make light work of a featherweight Carlisle - Crewe engineers as they approach Ais Gill summit at MP 260. The fast dropping sun lengthening the shadows on Wild Boar Fell.
