JL - 30.11.23 66126 6K05 Carlisle - Crewe, MP260

As the clouds rolled in from the east bringing light snowfall it would've been the obvious move to abandon all hopes of winter sun at Ais Gill and head into the blue skies further south. However, as is often the case, the mighty flank of Mallerstang Edge was breaking up the low cloud as they tracked west. This meant a ridiculously lucky patch of blue opened up just at the right moment during the passage of the afternoon engineers diagram. With the hand held camera on the ground at Ais Gill, and drone in 'sport mode' overhead, I grabbed 2 shots of DRS 66126 making steady progress over the roof of England with 6K05 Carlisle - Crewe.
