The first shot of a new year so why not make it a classic S&C location. Weather has been dire from mid-Dec through early Jan so I was pleased to get anything decent in sun. With DRS diesel traction pressed into action on RHTT circuit and over that period K05 running behind electric traction via WCML there had been some lineside speculation about the diagram returning to it's S&C pathing pattern. Very pleased that this doesn't seem to be the case in early Jan at least. DRS 66108 thunders up to Ais Gill at MP260 with a heavy and interesting wagon consist forming 6K05 Carlisle - Crewe engineers.
