A unusual DRS traction combination turned up on K05 this afternoon. Running around 25 mins behind the earlier southbound gypsum empties, 68017 and immaculate stablemate 68016 make light work of a featherweight Carlisle - Crewe engineers as they approach Ais Gill summit at MP 260. The fast dropping sun lengthening the shadows on Wild Boar Fell. This shot was published in the Dec 2020 edition of Rail Express.
