JL - 9.5.16 37423 2C47 10.04 Preston - Barrow, Pennington

One of my favourite workings to photograph at the moment is 2C47 10.04 Preston - Barrow. There are endless locations for this working as it skirts the coast and towns of Morecombe Bay and today I tried a spot that's familiar to many but new for me. The sun's round enough now to light up the front at Pennington just to the west of Ulverston. Running slightly late but arriving just ahead of a some cloud, 37423 'Spirit of the Lakes' glides around the tight curve whilst closing in on it's destination.
