If it wasn't for the DRS liveried stock this shot would be reminiscent of the Welsh Marches line and the 37 hauled Manchester - Cardiff trains which used to ply that route. The modern-era large logo 37401, which now looks even better with a bit of work grime, leads 2C47 10.04 Preston - Carlisle through Pennington just west of Ulverston. This is my second shot recently at this spot and now having got the large logo engine and a DRS liveried loco here I think I'll need to look for another spot for this diagram.
