JL - 21.1.17 37402 2C41 0845 Barrow - Carlisle, Oughterside

I was heading over to the north west of the county today to watch a rugby game at Silloth so it made sense to attempt a few shots between Maryport and Carlisle along a stretch of the Cumbrian coast line that I've not often visited. By the time 2C41 08.45 Barrow - Carlisle gets into this area the sun it not at the best angle and is off the nose at the popular location of Bullgill. Slightly further east near Oughterside there is an open stretch of line with several decent possibilities. 37402 pounds along this stretch and into the curve under cloudless skies on a cold late Jan day. Unfortunately I arrived in the area just too late to get a shot of the earlier 37 hauled Sellafield - Crewe flasks.
