JL - 29.7.20 D6817 / 37521 1Z45 16:12 Skipton - Appleby, Waitby
After being rudely thrown out of the field just further north (from which I'd already photted C89) a quick run to this location was required to bag the shot I was out for. D6817 / 37521 bowls downhill across Waitby Common with 1Z45 16:12 Skipton - Appleby RCS / LSL S&C shuttle.
I do have sympathy with our local farmers, over the years on the S&C I've seen some shocking examples from photters damaging fences, walls and gates and forgetting this is a working environment that people rely on to make their living. No wonder then that we are all tarnished with the same brush. It gets particularity bad when the crowds descend as we've seen in the last 2 weeks. That said, I refuse to pay the £5 demanded to stay in a field from which I photted for many years. Had it been for charity that would be a different matter.
