8.10.12 - 66423 & 66425 3J11 Carlisle - Carlisle, Waitby Common

I had chosen this location for a shot of 4S93 northbound DBS coal, but I also thought it might work well for a going away shot of the RHTT if it did turn up. Almost as soon as the earlier sprinter was out of section and 4S93 had worked north the kirkby distant light turned green and DRS 66423 and 66425 turned up running around 10 mins early. In glorious light the DRS pair crossed Waitby Common with the 3J11 Carlisle - Carlisle via the north west rail head treatment train. Given the difficulty of shooting this train over the years I'm happy with this as a first effort for the 2012 season, although without wishing to sound picky it would've been better with 37s, 47s or even 57s.
