JL - 26.8.21 43058 & 43059 17.18 Skipton - Appleby, Waitby Common

For the third consecutive evening I was targeting the evening Staycation Express. Previously I had photted this diagram at another 2 favourite northbound locations, Low Frith and Quarry Farm. The Summer light is still very harsh during the day but at this time, late afternoon in the Eden Valley, the angle of the light and golden hues help to pick out the dark livery of this seasonal working which is now into its second season. A little bit of cloud happily obliges and adds something to the beautiful scene at Waitby Common as LSL pair 43058 & 43059 rattle downgrade forming 17.18 Skipton - Appleby with a friendly wave from the driver to boot.
