JL - 24.1.24 56105 & 56049 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk, Waitby Common

A windy Waitby Common was illuminated by low winter sunshine just in time today to pick out Colas pair 56105 and 56049 as they thundered south with 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk logs. With no K05 this S&C regular was unusually pathed ahead of the 13:36 ex-Carlisle service train meaning the sun would still just be favourable at this popular spot. The fast moving cloudscape was quite something after the recent storms, so I opted for a drone shot which allows for the inclusion of more of the skyscape.
