8.10.12 - 66005 4S93 Milford - New Cumnock, Waitby Common

Kirkby box had informed me that 4S93 was expected on time at 17.15. I also had in mind the possibility of the RHTT running for the first time this season. So it was either head north and concentrate on the RHTT without any definate gen or get to a position which was good for the coal but also for the RHTT if did turn up. After doing the cement last year at Waitby Common in lovely golden light I wanted to attempt the same for a coal diagram. Luckily the light got better after some high cloud had drifted west and 66005 crossed Waitby Common in stunning conditions with the DBS coal empties from Milford - New Cumnock. Around 5 mins later the RHHT worked in the opposite direction around 10 mins early.
