JL 23.5.15 37611 2C32 05.15 Carlisle - Barrow, St Bees

After hours of research into locations, sun positions and train times I got up at 04.30 and headed into the wild west of the county (into Marra country) for the first Saturday of loco hauled Cumbrian Coast workings. Evenn though I live in Cumbria the wild west is still a long trip. I'd worked out that the sun would just about be over the hills at St Bees for the very first working and that's just as it turned out. In stunning morning light, just as the sun started to warm the track 37611 worked south with 2C32 05.15 Carlisle - Barrow. What a superb way to start a fantastic day.
