7.2.09 - LMS 7P 46115 'Scots Gaurdsman' Man Vic - Car CME, Smardale V

On a day when the world and his wife seemd to descend upon the S&C I chose a quieter location at Smardale Viaduct for my shot of the Winter CME working from Manchester Victoria to Carlisle as 1Z72. Certainly conditions were promising and with an authentic combination of loco and stock it was always going to be a busy day. Although it's an OK shot I saw some superb images of this working and heading further south would've been a better option in hindsight.
