A nice turn up for the books today was 6E85 Hunterston - Drax DBS coal diagram. On time all the way from Scotland it turned up at Ais Gill behind 66175 at around 11.55am under threatening skies but very luckily for me bathed in glorious Winter sunshine. You can almost feel the cold through this picture as temperatures never got above freezing all day, I'm still thawing out as I type this caption! Settle weather station was reporting a wind chill of minus 5 so up on the tops it must've been much colder and I really flelt it!
