5.12.12 - 66107 6M00 Mossend - Clitheroe, Ais Gill MP260 - Ais Gill - Milepost 260
Another unusual occurance today was the late running of 6M00 Mossend - Clitheroe cement diagram. It was over 2 hours late away from Mossend but made up some time over Beattock and was 111 down after leaving Carlisle. It arrived at Ais Gill just 5 mins behind behind the earlier DBS coal at 12pm which gave the chance to record this working from a favourite afternoon location. Seen climbing past a freezing milepost 260 the 14 Castle Cement tanks make a very nice picture behind 66107. Thanks to WA, RB and SC for all their help with gen today.
