Just stunning, I'm really pleased with this effort. The arrival of the bright blue lineside drainage-hole covers at Angerholme (courtesy of the ever thoughtful Network Rail) have forced me into a rethink for which angle looks best. Shooting from a lower position, you can negate the effect and still get a very pleasing shot at this classic location, plus the wall, rather than the gate and fence, provide some essential foreground depth. With a friendly wave from the driver, 66075 eases south with 6M00 Mossend - Clitheroe empty cement tanks.
