JL - 4.1.17 37425 2C41 14.37 Barrow - Carlisle, Haverigg crossing

The logs on the WCML were expected but it was late leaving Carlisle and the question was would it make it south before the shadows lengthened? As the forecast was for cloud in hills late afternoon and clear skies on the coast I decided to take a pleasant and leisurely drive out to Millom to get the afternoon loco hauled.
In glowing winter light 37425 'Concrete Bob' thunders away from Milllom towards Harvigg crossing with 2C41 14.37 Barrow - Carlisle. This was the same daigram I had silhouetted at Ravenglass earlier in the week and I reckoned as long as it was one time and the cloud stayed away this shot would be 'on'.
