JL - 28.4.23 37042 Eden Valley Railway, Warcop

Running out of line and almost out of time, split headcode 37042 still patiently awaits its long planned restoration at The Eden Valley Railway, Warcop. Seen basking in the setting evening sun at the southern end of the railway's operations. With a little imagination you can picture the EE loco at the head of a very attractive engineers diagram on this lovely line. In it's working days the loco led a nomadic life moving around regions with various home depot allocations including Cardiff Canton, March, Heally Mills, Thornaby, Tinsley and Immingham.
