A trip out west to catch the new Cumbrian coast loco hauled trial working was thwarted by its cancellation. That in itself wouldn't have been an issue if there was anything else running but on this occasion the Drigg trip ran light engine and the as required flask workings didn't run. So nothing else for it but to shoot the units, get a grab shot of the northbound 6C53 and get back across to the usual stamping ground. As the sun warms the coastal hamlet of Seascale, 153 unit 153332 glides south along this beautiful stretch with 07.22 Whitehaven - Barrow service.
