JL - 12.5.16 57003 57301 6K73 Sellafield - Crewe, Eskmeals

Having been up at Nethertown earlier for the crossing loco haulaed workings around 4pm there was a question about where to head next. There seemed to be more and more cloud building further south but I took my chances and in the end the light became clearer and around Eskmeals was near perfect for the passage of 6K73 at approx 17.30. I'm really pleased with this shot because I've been unlucky with my attempted shots of this working at this location. This time the cloud stayed away at the right moment and the formation was decent. 57003 and 57301, which reallly suit the new DRS livery, dash south with the Sellafield - Crewe flasks with a load of 3. These were the same two locos which worked north on 6C53 earlier in the day and I just missed a shot of them at Kirkby as they were around 15 mins early on that inbound working.
