8.10.12 - 158816 15.05 Carlisle - Leeds, Low Frith

Whilst waiting for the late afternoon coal diagram I took a shot of the 15.05 Carlisle - Leeds semi-fast. Just as a record for future reference of the possibilities for the Low Frith shot at this time of year. I went for a shot which was closer to attractive overbridge because shadows were lying across the line just behind my vantage point. As can be seen the shot from this spot is a very nice one, particularly in fantastic Autumn light. 158816 climbs out of the cutting near Birkett Tunnel and into Mallerstang.
