1.6.09 66013 6S00 Clitheroe - Mossend, Low Frith

With stunning sunshine all day I was glancing out of my office window all day wondering what I might be missing. In the evening I couldn't resist a quick dash out to catch the northbound cement working. At just after 7pm 66013 drifts downgrade through a sun-bathed Mallerstang in charge of the 6S00 Clitheroe - Mossend loaded cement tanks. With 10 in tow this train was a nice fit for the available space at the Low Frith location, which if you want the sun on the cab front is only 'on' during the summer months. At this time Catsle cement were half way through branding their fleet of wagons which had been delivered with a stainless steel finish.
