25.9.11 - 43306 & 43074 1S05 09.00 York - Edinburgh, Throp

After seeing many shots of ECML diversions over the Tyne Valley route I was keen to make my first visit to capture at least a few shots during this Autumn's diversions. With only 3 weekends to go at, and many days taken up with prior commitments, this Sunday was my only opportunity and with a fair forecast I headed north with both lads in tow. It was a relaxed day and with no experience of photographing the route I was just guessing at locations. First stop was Throp for the first 3 diagrams, the first one to appear was 1S05 09.00 York - Edinburgh formed of a mixed livery combination of 43306 and 43074 at the rear.
