JL - 28.10.19 37219 & 37057 1Q16 Heaton - Derby, Naworth Parks

After grabbing a shot of the southbound S&C cement at Armathwaite I raced north to the Tyne Valley route for the anticipated 37s on the Heaton - Derby test train. With less than 45 mins for the journey I was deciding on my location as I traveled. Originally I was intending to get to Denton Crossing but I thought it would be too tight for time and I didn't want to risk missing the shot in the glorious conditions. Then I remembered this location at Naworth Parks, it's not one you see often but I like it especially in Autumn as the colours on the trees in the background can be quite striking.
37219 'Jonty Jarvis' was leading and it's Colas livery looked well amongst the leaves as she worked steadily west with 1Q16 Heaton - Derby. the split headcode BR green 37057 would lead for the S&C leg but increasing cloud cover ruined any chance of sun. Still I was very happy to get this.
