Looking back through my collection there aren't many occasions when I've photographed both the southbound empties and the northbound loaded cement workings on the same day. I know from experience that the reason is that decent weather conditions rarely previal for a full day. However today everything came together and the sun shone all day long. 66107 descends towards Kirkby with 6S00 Clitheroe - Mossend loaded cement tanks. With 14 tanks in tow this working weighed in at an impressive 1400 tons.
