JL - 29.3.19 66302 6C89 Mountsorrel - Carlisle Yard, Birkett Common

Time is up for DRS and it's association with the evening Mountsorrel - Carlisle ballast working which it's been the haulier for since the working began. It's understood that Colas take over from Monday. Exactly 24 hours and 3 minutes since my last shot of the same loco on the same diagram. I couldn't believe I was lucky enough to get this working in the golden hour at this time of year on 2 consecutive days, it's very rare that this happens. Low Winter sun illuminates DRS 66302 as she makes steady descent through Birkett Common with 6C89 Mountsorrel - Carlisle Yard ballast. Stunning light at a stunning location, perhaps my luck is on the turn!
