1.2.12 - 57008 & 57011 6C53 Crewe - Sellafield, Underhill LC

An early start today for a trip over to west Cumbria for the flasks and glow-ex ecs. The forecast promised clearer skies further west and that was proved to be the case, although 3 minutes before this shot the sun hadn't risen over a thin band of cloud. However, as I heard this diagram working north from across the estuary the scene was lit up with golden winter light. 57008 & 57011 pick up speed as they pass Underhill level crossing with 6C53 Crewe - Carlisle flasks. After not bothering with these workings for some time, they are starting to grow on me! More trips over to the Cumbrian coast are planned.
