What a shame this wasn't full sun. We were just on the very edge of some cloud at Gallansay as LMS Jubilee No. 45699 'Galatea' stormed past with 1Z69 Carlisle - Leicester, having worked north earlier in the day. The Jub was staying on only as far as Hellifield but looked in fine fettle as she climbed south. It was a very last minute decision to head out because it was dull and raining just 30 mins earlier, that being the case I arrived at this spot with seconds to spare.
