10.11.12 - 66053 6E62 Carlisle Yard - Tees Dock, Cross Bank

Whilst the southern part of Eden Valley stayed cloudy for most of the day, further north and into the Tyne Valley there was clear skies and bright Autumnal sunshine. The boys and I had a long day trip out which included attemping a few shots of the Carlisle Yard - Tees Dock intermodal. Our first shot was at Cross Bank just west of Haltwhistle and a lengthy working passed alongside the A69 with 66053 in charge. I'm still getting used to the locations on this route and in hindsight perhaps bit further west would've been better to get the sun on the cab front. Still it's a nice enough image at an easy to reach location.
