A reminder for me (as if one were needed), of the importance of persistence with S&C photography. I was outrageously bowled by cloud for the southbound cement at Garsdale, the K05 engineers diagram, and the logs at Dent. But it all came together at the very end of the day for the northbound cement. Happily GBRf Maritime liveried 66727 remains glued to this diagram which makes it always something to prioritise. In stunning evening light 'Maritime One' coasts downgrade at Greengates with 6C03 Clitheroe - Carlisle Yard. A moment well worth persevering for. I was also in the Birkett field for a ground based shot of this working.
