JL - 7.12.22 68008 & 68006 3J11 Carlisle - Carlisle, Greengates

Heading north from Selside I was keeping one eye on the RHTT which was once again up and running over the full length of the line after the reopening of Petteril Bridge Junction yesterday following derailment of the cement diagram. After a trip down the coastal route to Whitehaven and back, 68008 and 68006 got away from Carlisle 20 mins early. If they picked up more time they might just make it to Greengates before sundown. Seen here right in the last knockings of light and after hearing them approach for a good 10 mins in the still winter air 3J11 thunders south. This was my first S&C shot of the RHTT this season after significant disruption to it's usual operations.
