JL - 9.10.15 66548 & 66426 3J11 Carlisle - Carlisle, Greengates

Descending from the fell section into the more pastoral surroundings of the upper Eden Valley, the Autumnal RHTT diagram which over the course of an evening covers most of the routes in Cumbria and North Lancs is pictured at Greengates under cloudless skies. Unfortunately, cloud built up as the morning went on and so this was the only non-passenger working that was on offer for photographers seeking sun. As is becoming usual for a Friday the cement working was cancelled which decreases further the already sparse S&C freight scene. The usual paring for 2015, 66426 and hired in FHH 66548, was once again in charge the pair are seen coasting down towards Kirkby Stephen with 3J11 in very nice lighting conditions.
