This is the S&C photography equivalent of the planets aligning. With an early departure from Carlisle, and nothing in front to get in the way, there was just a chance that the logs would arrive in Ribblesdale before the sun dipped behind the hills. In Winter light I've very rarely managed a shot of the logs further south than Ais Gill summit. However, today I captured the diagram at one of my favourite spots, Selside Far Moor. Using my preferred composition at this spot, 60002 runs downgrade atop the ever-popular 6J37 Carlisle - Chirk.
