27.11.12 - 153360 & 158859 11.55 Carlisle - Leeds, Greengates

In very dramatic conditions a northern rail pairing of 153360 and 158859 work past Greengates on a late 11.55 Carlisle - Leeds. This service was running in the usual path of 6K05 engineers. Obvioulsy, when the engineers diagram did turn up it missed the sun by seconds. This was the first day of much colder air arriving from the north and large sections of blue cloud was spilling across the Pennines, interspersed with very dark clouds to create these excellent conditions.
